Amy has a background in consulting on general plans around California, including working on some of the earliest environmental justice elements in the state. She joined the City of Sacramento in 2021, where she began supporting work on the 2040 General Plan Update, including the development of Environmental Justice Element. She is currently leading the effort to collect public feedback on the Draft Sacramento 2040 General Plan, especially from historically underserved communities. Amy received a Master of Science in Urban Planning as well as a Master of Public Health from Columbia University.
