Dan serves as the Team Lead for the California Department of Public Health’s Climate Change and Health Equity Section. He leads cross-sector climate change policy and planning projects that aim to improve public health, advance equity, and build community resilience across California. Dan holds a B.S. in Design and Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning, an M.S. in Community Development, and a Master of Public Health degree, all from the University of California, Davis.
