James Rojas
Artist, urban planner and founder of 
​Place It!

James is an urban planner, community activist, and artist who has developed Place It!, an innovated community engagement practice for visual and spatial thinkers that uses storytelling, objects, art-production, and play to help communities find common ground and their voice through sensory experiences, memories, needs, and aspirations. He has facilitated over 1,000 workshops, and building 200+ interactive models. Many of his clients are under-served and disadvantaged communities: women, youth, men of color, non-native English speakers, and LGBTQ members.
