Juan Reynoso is an urban planner and public health professional who specializes in health equity and environmental justice. As a Senior Planner at Raimi + Associates, Juan works on a variety of healthy communities projects in California, including supporting cities and counties with implementation of Senate Bill 1000 (the Planning for Healthy Communities Act). Prior to Raimi + Associates, Juan has had a diverse range of experience in healthy communities planning, including working at The California Endowment during the Building Healthy Communities initiative. He is passionate about transforming communities into health-promoting and climate-resilient places where all people have an opportunity to thrive.
Juan received a Master of Public Health and Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University, he received a B.A. in Human Biology with honors from Stanford University, and he is a member of the Switzer Environmental Fellowship Network. Juan is the son of working-class immigrants from Mexico and grew up in California’s Central Valley and San Diego County. |
