Sergio Carranza is the founder and Executive Director of Pueblo Unido Community Development Corporation (PUCDC), a non-profit organization dedicated to serve disadvantaged communities in the eastern Coachella Valley. PUCDC was born from the initiative of community leaders to address the inequities faced by essential farmworker families. Mr. Carranza has 20 years of track record in facilitating and implementing community driven projects through leadership development; strategic planning; network support building; public policy and collaborative efforts with government institutions towards drinking water, and sanitation; affordable housing and community-economic development to develop healthy and sustainable communities.
