Fair Chance for Housing Coalition

Picture
My name is Anita Wills. I am a mother to 4 adult children a grandmother of 6 (one who is deceased), and a great grandmother to one. I am a writer author and activist here in the Bay Area. I was born and raised in a rural community about 30 miles outside of Philadelphia. I am an Activist and Advocate with Essie Justice Group the Electoral Justice Project and a Policy Advocate with Fair Chance for Housing. I attended Merritt College San Jose City College, Cal State East Bay, and Chabot College. Worked many years as an Administrative Assistant Child Care Provider and Pre School Teacher. As the mother of a son who is incarcerated, I am honored to be a part of The Fair Chance for Housing Campaign. We are Advocating for the Formerly Incarcerated to have secure housing. Having secure housing is one way to prevent recidivism and insure the safety of the community. Housing and stability go hand in hand in making our community safe for everyone.
