Rebecca Zaragoza

Rebecca Zaragoza is a Senior Policy Advocate with Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability and is based in the Eastern Coachella Valley. She has a BA in Global and International Relations and Spanish and has since worked with different organizations to advance efforts around social and environmental justice. Rebecca currently leads Leadership Counsel's work in the Eastern Coachella Valley with a focus on Transportation, Air Quality, the Salton Sea, and different statewide policy initiatives aimed at advancing climate justice. Rebecca is a life-long resident of the unincorporated community of Thermal and has worked closely on the implementation process of SB 1000 in Riverside County.
