Gustavo Gonzalez, AICP

​Gustavo N. González, AICP, is an urban planner and public servant. In his current role as Community Development Director for the City of Eastvale, Gustavo oversees the city’s Planning and Economic Development operations. Prior to Eastvale, he served the Cities of Pomona, Anaheim, Riverside and Fremont where he held various planner positions. In every role, Gustavo’s highest priority is putting the public interest at the forefront while serving the community in a manner that is focused on performance rather than process. Gustavo is a member of the American Planning Association (APA) and the American Institute of Certified Planners. In 2016, he was awarded a Professional Planner Award by APA for raising awareness of California’s planning history. Gustavo holds a Master of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and two bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Riverside.
